First of all, this may be the only intimate massager I own that is still marketed as a massager in addition to a sex toy. Made by Human Touch, this is one massager that definitely make a great vibrator. It's easily maneuverable, hand held, rechargeable, and quite cute. I leave this lying out without second thought.
When I first got this vibrator my family was over. My brother had wandered back to my room to grab some movies and next thing I know he has my new lovely Acuvibe. He's smirking at me (my family knows I review- they are accepting of it and very curious about all things sex toy related). He flipped it to on and replied "holy hell- it's as strong as that white baseball bat" (referring to the Hitachi). Of course, I'm nice enough to make sure they never grab anything I've used. As this toy was straight out of the box and freshly charged they all took turns using it on their shoulders. Verdict? My brother has already ordered one.
While the Acuvibe Mini may be the best massager I own in my house, the truth is I had naughtier intentions for this vibrator. This one setting vibrator is as strong as the lowest setting on the Hitachi. This means it is just a tad too strong for me, but with the right positioning I can actually come with this. I can't come with the Hitachi. I had first related it to the sheer strength of the toy, now I think it's the strength combined with the huge head. The Acuvibe Mini has a smaller, more flexible head that allows me to manuever it just right.
Human Touch recommends to better maintain this toy, make sure to completely drain the battery and recharge it for a full 16 hours once monthly. They don't really include cleaning instructions, probably because most people don't need to clean a vibrator after a shoulder massage. I use a damp rag or a wipe off toy cleaner on the head and the handle.
As a sex toy reviewer, I always strive to provide honest information. I must report that another sex toy reviewer whom I chat with and highly respect has told me that after 3 months and a few uses, her Acuvibe Mini will no longer hold a charge. I've charged mine 4 times already in the span of a few weeks and haven't had a problem. Maybe hers is a fluke, but I wanted to at least provide the information.

You're one of the few to say anything negative about the Hitachi-everyone else seems to think its the end all, be all of sex toys. Is it ok with you that this only has one setting? I would think that would be a negative for me.
The one setting is good enough for me.
As far as me disliking the Hitachi. I enjoy it, it's just large, a bit awkward, has to be attached to a wall, and the head is a little large. It does it's purpose well though.
