Love Being Woman has a fabulous site. I was immediately attracted to it because it just screams woman friendly, to me at least. Now most people don't have a dresser (and a few boxes) full of sex toys and I try to consider the first time buyer (possibly someone like a friend, a mother, my grandmother even) coming to a site that screams SEX TOYS and being terrified. Love Being Woman, once again, seems very friendly. Warm & welcoming. One of the things they set out to do was a create a vibrator designed by women that was beautiful AND functional. And they'd had enough with the tacky images and bad packaging. As someone who dissects every package with a little too much critique, I have to say I definitely appreciate their attention to detail.
I got to try the BeBe. It even has it's own slogan, "Be beautiful, Be you." I was pretty excited about getting the package. Love Being Woman is based in Australia, a country I've never been to but would love to see. Inside there was a postcard from Kris & Lisa with a photo of NSW Autralia, where the BeBe was created. They'd also included some more information about the BeBe as well as a copy of a newspaper article that had been published about the creators. Again, you can tell a lot of time and effort went into this product.
The BeBe comes in a simple white cardboard box with a sticker of the company's logo on top. Open the white box and you're greeted with a black satin bag with a printing of the company's logo. Inside the satin drawstring bag there is an egg like purple metal container that houses the BeBe. The container snaps together well and makes great storage. It also is surprisingly subtle with a nice pattern. With all the other gadgets I have being in the bathroom & bedroom, someone could easily see this in a drawer and not really give it a second guess. Finally when you open the container you're greeted with the bright purple BeBe. Another nice note, inside the container is a black lining that holds two batteries (included). This is especially nice for those who travel and always forget batteries. They're already there and you don't risk ruining your vibrator by leaving them in.
The vibrator takes two AA batteries. Rechargeables do work well in this vibrator, so while the vibrator itself is not rechargeable, at least you can still be environmentally friendly. The battery cover is my only real gripe about this toy. It is a PIA to get off. It takes a hefty shove (and is impossible to do if you have any lubricant on your fingers) and always sounds like its going to crack when it comes off. It scares me every time, but the vibrator makes it worth it. It fits very nicely into my hand. The broader part is where the vibrator is housed and it produces a fairly strong vibe for 2-AAs.
With only a continuous setting, it's really easy to use. Make sure the vibe is in the unlocked mode. To lock or unlock, simply press down both buttons. If the LED indicator is lit up red, you're ready to go, if it isn't you're either locked or the batteries are dead. There are at least 15 strengths (it's hard for me to definitely tell) but the first few are very low and cause an odd clunking sound in the toy. To increase strength press the button on the right (if you're holding it properly), to decrease strength, press the button on the left.
The BeBe is great for both solo and partner use. It is a little on the larger side to be used during missionary position. It does work wonders when I'm on top, he's entering from behind me, or when he has me pulled to the side of a surface and he's standing upright. The vibrations are easily felt, though it is not a pin point stimulation. Because the plastic is entirely smooth, I don't use lubricant simply because I like the tugging feeling this creates on my labia and clit. It enhanced my orgasm and will definitely be getting used again in my bedroom. The BeBe is made from ABS plastics which is phthaltes free and safe to use with both water and silicone based lubricants. Take care cleaning though, the BeBe is NOT water resistant. I reccomend using a wash rag and either a toy cleaner or antibacterial soap.
Easy to use, classy, with an extremely well thought out case, the BeBe is non intimidating. With a website that is very woman friendly, it's easy to see why woman love this vibrator. Want your own BeBe? Get it here!

It's SO pretty, but I can't fathom paying over $100 for a plastic toy.
I want to try that but the price stands in my way. Maybe one day. :)
